The Town Office is now accepting nominations for Municipal Elections. Public notice is hereby given that nominations of candidates for the office Councillor (1): Town of Indian Head.
Persons eligible for nomination as a candidate in an urban municipality must:
– be at least 18 years old on Election Day;
– be a Canadian citizen;
– have resided in the Town of Indian Head for at least 3 consecutive months immediately preceding the date nomination paper is submitted; and have resided in Saskatchewan for at least 6 consecutive months immediately preceding the date nomination paper is submitted.
Nomination Packages will be available at the Town Office for pick up between 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Completed nomination packages will be received at the Town Office during normal business hours until Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.
The position will be a one-year term until general elections are held in November of 2024.
