The Indian Head RCMP is seeking the publics assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for several acts of mischief and vandalism that has occurred in the community of Indian Head since the New Year has started.  On January 3rd 2024 in the community of Indian Head an owner of a vehicle reported that someone went through his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway.  The person took the owner’s mail key.  Secondly, on January 6th 2024 the Indian Head RCMP received a complaint that sometime between the evening of Friday January 5th and the morning of Saturday January 6th someone emptied the contents of a fire extinguisher into an open window at his residence causing damage to his house.  On the same date and time Indian Head RCMP received several calls of mischief occurring when someone damaged Christmas decorations from residences in the community.  On Sunday Jan 7th 2024 the owner of a vehicle reported it stolen from his parking spot some time over night.  The vehicle was later recovered and was damaged during the theft.  Lastly on Jan 8th 2024 an owner of a residence reported someone had trespassed by entering their property without permission.  Nothing was taken and no damage observed.

All of these occurrences happened in the community of Indian Head during the evening or early hours of the day and are not specific to one area of town.  The RCMP is requesting that if anyone sees any suspicious activity to contact the RCMP.  Anyone with information in these or any other criminal activities in the community is asked to contact the Indian Head RCMP at 306-695-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
