Free Transfer Station Weekend
The Town has declared October 18 & 19, 2025 “Free Yard Waste Weekend” at the Waste Transfer Station. There will be no charge at the Transfer Station for yard waste loads. Please note: demolition loads do not qualify for free yard waste weekend.
Hours of operation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
If there is inclement weather, please check the Town’s Facebook to ensure the Transfer Station is open. You can also check the Transfer Station sign west of Highway 56 to ensure it is open before driving out.
