The Town of Indian Head

Rapid Antigen Self-Test Kits are now available for pick up at the Indian Head Town Office.

Self-Testing Kits are available to the general public free of charge. Routine, voluntary testing at home will help prevent asymptomatic transmission to those who are not able to be vaccintated and will reduce COVID-19 transimission in the community. Please note that these testing kits do not come individually packaged but are in bundles of five. For the safety of our employees and other Indian Head residents, please DO NOT enter the town office to pick up rapid antigen self-test kits if you are currently experiencing (or recently experienced) symptoms of COVID-19.

Self-testing is safe, easy to use, provides results within 15 minutes and, most importantly, is gentle. Self-tests only take a few seconds to collect a sample using a swab that goes into the soft part of each nostril. These tests can be done almost anywhere, at any time to see if you may have COVID-19. Point-of-care rapid antigen self-tests should only be used for people not experienceing COVID symptoms (asymptomatic). Anyone with symptoms should go for a COVID test (lab PCR test) at the Saskatchewan Health Authority's current test centers or drive-thru testing site. Healthline 811 is available to answer questions and to book a COVID-19 test.
