The Town of Indian Head

The following is an update on the Covid-19 implications from the Town of Indian Head Emergency Measures Organization. 

The process is taking on a huge impact to the world. This is a continued time for calm and to trust the process that is being given.

We continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates to any additional directions.

Stay informed. The media, internet and social media is full of information some false, some true and some partially true about Covid-19.

This is what we suggest:

1. RELY ON credible information. You can follow this link for the Public Health Agency of Canada and other resources.

2. Because the virus spreads through coughing, sneezing & direct physical contact it is essential to:

A. Avoid large groups

B. Distance yourself from others if you can

C. Wash your hands frequently. At least 20 seconds with soap AND WATER

D. If you are sick head for home

E. DO NOT visit senior residents if you're sick

F. Utilize the COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool on the Government of Saskatchewan website if you're unsure of your status and to know when to talk to a doctor

G. Use the 811 Provincial Health Line to ask questions on your health

H. MAKE SURE you have a supply of your normal required medication on hand
