Visit the Grand Theatre

The Grand Theatre was built in 1904 as the Indian Head Opera House by Arthur James Osment. It is the oldest, continuously operating theatre in Western Canada.

Tourist Booth & Statue

Conveniently located at the junction of Hwys 1 and 56, the tourist centre is the perfect place for a rest. Enjoy the beautiful floral displays, the historic Red River Ox Cart and a buffalo rubbing stone. Don’t leave without taking a selfie at the world famous Indian Head Statue.

The Tourist Booth is open from Victoria Day Weekend until Labour Day weekend each year. Operating hours are 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (based on volunteer availability).
